announcing the release of the mixtape on September, 20th of 2024.
In the post listed on IG, there were three tags indicating the three producers that played a part in the production of this project, these producers included; Wheezy, along with Southside & Taurus. This announcement also came with the release of “MIXTAPE PLUTO” merchandise & bundle packages.
“MIXTAPE PLUTO” marks a return to his signature trap sound while incorporating fresh elements that make it stand out. This project features 17 tracks, including the much-anticipated collaboration with Travis Scott on “South of France,” a track that blends catchy hooks with deep beats, reflecting summer vibes. Other standout songs like “Teflon Don” and “Lil Demon” bring intense energy, while more contemplative tracks like “Too Fast” show a range of emotions, adding versatility to the mixtape.
Coming off an amazing year for Future, this is his third full length project within the last 7 months. The project has been hailed as a callback to Future’s mixtape prime, reminiscent of his mid-2010s releases like DS2 and Monster. Fans of that era will appreciate the gritty beats and Future’s raw delivery, which discards commercial friendliness in favor of a tougher sound.
