YE & Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1 Debuts at #1
Billboard top 200 Released 1st week sales of the Release of "Vultures 1". The album pulled in roughly 148,000 digital sales (167.78 million streams) 1st week and is currently trending #1 on Billboard charts, surpassing Usher at #2 with his release of "Coming Home" following his preformance at the Super Bowl.
Though this is Kanye's 11th consecutive number one album leader position, this is Ty's first.
"Ye ties Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand with 11 No. 1s each. Ahead of them are only The Beatles (a record 19 No. 1s), Jay-Z (14), Drake and Taylor Swift (each with 13)".
With the obstacles placed around the release & its subsequent removal from streaming platforms, this #1 is kind of a big deal as it is Kanye's first Independent release since being released from contractual obligations.
Atop of all of this Ye & www.Yeezy.com has sliced all of their prices on all products.
Everything on the site was reduced to $20 upon release. All items including his latest YZY Pod release (retailing at $200) were all refunded to customers who paid the orginal msrp prior to the pricing update.
