Late on Thursday, October 24th arrest records for Durk Banks aka Lil Durk became public following his arrest by federal marshals in Florida.
With information still unclear, the charges allege an apparent connection between Durk and the murder of an associate of Quando Rondo, named Lul Pab.
Durk is the leader of the Chicago-based rap collective known as Only the Family or OTF.
Following an altercation at Monaco Hookah Lounge between rapper Quando Rondo & King Von, an affiliate of OTF, shots rang out leading to the deaths of Dayvon Bennett aka King Von & Mark Blakely. Four others were shot including the initial gunman Timothy Leeks aka Lul Timm, who reportedly began shooting after King Von allegedly began to fight Quando Rondo an affiliate of Lul Timm.
The alleged motive of this plot for "Murder for hire" stemmed from the altercation that transpired in Atlanta between King Von & Qaundo Rondo. According to the justice department, the rapper Lil Durk conspired with five others to murder the rival rapper after the loss of King Von. The alleged attack resulted in the death Lul Pab, being shot and killed at a gas station near the Beverly Center shopping mall in Los Angeles on August 19, 2022.

Five people allegedly were paid to travel from Chicago to Los Angeles to commit the murder, the federal complaint said. All five people have been arrested and search warrants were executed at locations associated with the OTF members.
At least two more arrests may be forthcoming, according to court documents that have been filed.
If convicted of the crimes, Banks could face life in prison.
